What the RCD does

A residual current device (RCD) constantly monitors the current flowing through the lead. Choosing the right length

Safe use

Test the RCD using its test button regularly, and before each trip. Fully uncoil the lead before use, keep socket covers closed when not in use, and don’t exceed the total 16A load.
