Our storefront runs on Shopify's global infrastructure.

This website is built, hosted and technically operated using Shopify's e-commerce platform, provided by Shopify International Limited (Victoria Buildings, 2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland) and its group companies, including Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the underlying servers, checkout infrastructure, and content delivery network that allow outdoorextensionleads.co.uk to operate, but Shopify is not the seller of our products and has no responsibility for the content, pricing, or accuracy of information published on this site.

Responsibility for the products sold, the accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, order fulfilment, and customer service rests solely with INDOOR & OUTDOOR FURNISHINGS LTD, as the trader and data controller identified in Section 01.

03 — The Nature of Our Business

A UK retailer of outdoor power products and home furnishings.

INDOOR & OUTDOOR FURNISHINGS LTD operates an online retail business selling made-to-order Outdoor Extension Leads and Armoured Outdoor Extension Leads, Electrical Supplies for DIY and trade use, and Sofas for the home, exclusively to customers with a delivery address in the United Kingdom. We do not operate as a marketplace for third-party sellers; every product listed on this website is sold directly by us, and we are the trader responsible for each transaction.

Full detail on the contractual terms governing your order, including pricing, delivery, cancellation and returns, is set out in our Terms of Service. This Legal Notice is provided to satisfy statutory information requirements about who we are and how we are regulated, and should be read alongside, not instead of, our Terms of Service.

05 — Compliance with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002

The specific information UK e-commerce law requires us to give you.

As an online trader established in the United Kingdom, we comply with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, which require us to make certain information about our business clearly and permanently available. This Legal Notice, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is intended to satisfy that requirement by confirming our company name, registration number, registered office address, contact details, and the trade or professional body information relevant to our activities.

In line with these Regulations and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we also confirm before you complete an order: the technical steps to conclude the contract (described in Section 04 of our Terms of Service), the languages available for the contract (English only), whether the contract will be filed and whether it is accessible (your order confirmation email serves as a durable record of your contract with us), and the means for identifying and correcting input errors before you place an order (you may review and edit your basket at any stage before payment is submitted).

07 — Hyperlinking to and from Our Website

Links are convenient. We are still only responsible for our own pages.

You are welcome to link to outdoorextensionleads.co.uk provided the link is fair, lawful, does not damage or take unfair advantage of our reputation, and does not suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement by us where none exists. We reserve the right to request that a link be removed at any time.

Where our website links to external sites — for example, blog citations, courier tracking pages, or the Information Commissioner's Office — those links are provided for your convenience only. 08 — Accuracy of Website Content and General Liability

We take care with every page. We cannot promise perfection.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the information on this website, including product specifications, certification claims, pricing and guide content, is accurate and kept up to date. However, we do not guarantee that the website will be free of errors, omissions, or interruptions at all times, and general guide or blog content is provided for information only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice, particularly regarding electrical installation as described in Section 12 of our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987. Full detail on the limits of our liability in connection with an order is set out in Section 18 of our Terms of Service.

09 — Your Statutory Consumer Rights, in Summary

Set out in full elsewhere. Confirmed here, so nothing is hidden.

As a UK consumer, you are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires the goods we sell to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which give you a statutory right to cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery. These rights apply regardless of which part of the United Kingdom you live in — England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland — and are explained in full, including the specific exception that applies to made-to-order Outdoor Extension Leads, in Sections 08, 09 and 10 of our Terms of Service.

These statutory rights exist independently of, and are never reduced by, this Legal Notice, our Terms of Service, or any other policy published on this website.

10 — Data Protection and Cookies

We are your data controller under UK GDPR.

INDOOR & OUTDOOR FURNISHINGS LTD is the data controller of the personal information we collect through this website, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail on what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights over it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (as amended), with detail on the categories of cookie used and how to manage your preferences set out in Section 06 of our Privacy Policy.
