RCD OR WITHOUT: Built-in RCD protection automatically cuts power in case of dangerous current leakage. RCD protection gives you that extra protection where the item you have plugged into the device fails it wont make your fuseboard trip and will only trip at the socket which can easily be switched back on. The non rcd version works as normal with LED lights at the top to show if device is powered on, if your device that you have plugged in has an issue your fuseboard inside will trip rather then the socket.
