If you are going to leave the cable outside permanently you can opt for the armoured cable outdoor extension lead. You get 2 metres of flex coming out to the junction box which then converts into armoured cable. The flex side can be disconnected and fitted through the wall to your nearest socket. The armoured cable can be cleated along your wall taking the power to wherever you need it.
