1 WAY INDOOR EXTENSION LEAD FOR CAMPERVAN/MOTORHOME

Hook-up power, in a plug your appliances already fit.

Campsite posts use a blue 16A CEE socket. Your kettle, heater and chargers use a standard UK 13A plug. This lead bridges the two: plug the blue end into the hook-up post, and the single 13A socket at the other end gives you ordinary household power inside your motorhome, caravan or awning.

How it works

  1. Plug the blue CEE connector into the site hook-up post.
  2. Run the cable to where you need power.
  3. Plug in your appliance and switch on.

What you get

  • A blue 16A CEE plug with brass-coloured pins and a grey locking body, made to fit standard site posts
  • A single 13A UK socket in a compact black housing, designed for indoor use
  • Heavy duty black cable that coils neatly and stows away easily
  • Lengths from 1m to 50m, from a short run to a full pitch-length reach

Made for indoor sockets, so keep it dry

The socket end is designed for use inside your vehicle or under cover. It isn’t a weatherproof socket, so keep it off wet ground and out of the rain. If you need outdoor protection at the socket end, take a look at our weatherproof leads with sealed socket boxes.

Power limits

The lead is fed from a 16A supply, but a single 13A socket is limited to 13A, which is around 3000W. That’s plenty for a kettle, a fan heater or most everyday appliances. Don’t plug a multi-way adaptor into it and exceed that limit.

Who it’s for

Caravanners, motorhome and campervan owners, and campers using an awning, who want to power household appliances directly from a hook-up post.

Choosing your length

Measure from the hook-up post to where you’ll be using the socket and add some slack. Go for 1m to 5m when the post is close by, and longer when the pitch layout puts it further away.

Before every trip

Uncoil the lead completely, check the cable and connectors for damage, and keep the connection off wet ground.
