03 — What stays the same

Opting out of marketing doesn't opt you out of your own order.

Order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, returns correspondence, and any communication we are legally required to send you — such as a product safety notice — are not marketing. These will continue even after you opt out, because we need them to fulfil our contract with you and meet our legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and general product safety law.

If you would like to stop these too, for example because you no longer wish to use our services at all, contact us directly using the details in Section 08 and we will discuss what is possible.

04 — How we process your request
Verification

We match the email address you submit against our records so we apply the opt-out to the correct account or subscriber. We do not ask for any further identity documents for a marketing opt-out.

Timescale

We aim to stop email and SMS marketing to you within one business day, and no later than our next scheduled marketing send. Any personalised advertising instructed to stop is disabled from our side as soon as your request is processed.

Confirmation

We will confirm by email once your opt-out has been applied, so you know it has taken effect and don't need to wonder whether it worked.

No charge, no penalty

Opting out is free and will never affect your ability to place orders, use warranties, or receive customer support from us.
